The Scholastic Book Fair will take place in Room 20 on November 28th (4:30-7:30) and November 29th (9-12) during conferences.

Farm To School Fundraier

Buchanan School Parent Council is participating in the Farm To School fundraiser. Information and order forms were sent home today. It's a great fundraiser!! 

Winnipeg Jets Hockey Academy

Recently, all of Buchanan School's WJHA student athletes went to watch the Winnipeg Jets at an open practice. It was so much fun!! Tonight, Buchanan's gr. 4/5 WJHA student athletes have their first after school activities, skate and team dinner. We hit the ice at 5:15pm. Hope to see you at the Iceplex! Students can be picked up from the school between 6-30 & 6:45pm.

Thank you DJ Spradbrow and Dr. Hoch for hosting our Halloween assembly! Hope all of our trick-or-treaters had a fun time! 

International Dot Day!

Ms. Cretton's class read the book, The Dot, by Peter H. Reynolds. It's a fabulous book! Then, the class went on a scavenger hunt around the school to find dots!! Look what dots they discovered using the iPad and iPhone! 

Winnipeg Jets Hockey Academy

Today our 50 student-athletes in the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Academy were suited up for their hockey equipment. Hats off to Coach Murray, Coach Corey, Birchwood Auto Group, WASAC and the True North Foundation for a job well done. We're ready to play hockey!! 

First Full Week of School!

Here we go! Friday was a great day at Buchanan School! We're off and running. Welcome back staff, parents and students!
